JUSTICE-INVOLVED YOUTH | AGES 9 TO 17 | STANDALONE PROGRAM
FirstShift
Your First Step. A New Direction. A Different Story.
Every young person who ends up in the juvenile justice system has a story. A story that usually started long before any decision they ever made. A story shaped by what they saw, what they experienced, and what no one ever taught them.
FIRSTSHIFT does not start with what you did. It starts with who you are.
This is The Legacy Table USA's standalone juvenile reentry and restoration program for young people ages 9 to 17 who are currently or formerly justice-involved. FIRSTSHIFT meets young men where they are; in detention, on probation, or newly released and walks with them toward something the system was never designed to give them: an identity, a direction, and a future they can actually see.
We call it FIRSTSHIFT because this is not about correcting the past. It is about beginning. Right here. Right now. Your first shift toward the man you were always meant to be.

HOW IT WORKS

This Is Not a Second Chance. This Is Your First Step.

"No child is too far gone. No story is too broken to be rewritten. FIRSTSHIFT exists because we refuse to write off a single young man before he has had the chance to discover who he really is."
— David T. Harris, Founder and CEO, The Legacy Table USA
