Why I Pulled Up  A Chair

DAVID T. HARRIS
I'M DAVID T. HARRIS

A husband, father, mentor, entrepreneur, former pastor, and a man who believes in second chances because I've needed them myself.

I created The Legacy Table USA because I know what it feels like to carry things that you don't talk about pain, mistakes, frustration, financial struggles, relationship challenges, and the pressure to always appear strong.

LIFE HAS TAUGHT ME SOME HARD LESSONS

I've experienced disappointment, made poor decisions, and even gone through a divorce. There was a season in my life when my words and actions led to a situation that required me to attend family violence related classes. In that environment, I sat in a room with men from all walks of life who, like me, were carrying pain, anger, and struggles they had never learned how to communicate. That experience opened my eyes. 1 realized how many men are hurting in silence, and how much we need safe spaces to talk, learn, and grow.

THAT'S WHY THE LEGACY TABLE EXISTS.

It's more than a meeting. It's a movement. It's a place where men can be real, get support, gain practical guidance, and become better men husbands, fathers, leaders, and friends.

I'm still in the process. I don't have it all figured out. But I have learned that strength isn't pretending everything is perfect. True strength is being willing to pull up a chair, have an honest conversation, and keep growing.

MY PASSION

I believe that when men heal, families are stronger, communities are safer, and legacies are built. I'm passionate about helping men break cycles, take responsibility, and discover the purpose and potential that's already inside of them.

MY INVITATION TO YOU

If you're carrying something, if you're trying to be strong on your own, if you just need a place to be real, pull up a chair. You don't have to have it all together. You just have to be willing to show up.

Real change happens when men stop sitting in silence and start sitting together.
